SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Meet Amy McDermid

With over 12 years of Real Estate experience, Amy excels at blending meticulous organization with heartfelt dedication, ensuring every client feels valued and understood.

My mornings start early, getting my son Gavin ready for school and setting up my day. After that, it’s a mix of handling emails, meeting clients, showing properties, and diving into market evaluations. Afternoons are family time with my husband, picking up Gavin from daycare and enjoying his activities. Evenings are for family dinners, playtime, and relaxing with a good book or movie. When I have some free time, you’ll find me exploring new restaurants, golfing, running, biking, and camping with friends and family. I also love cooking and sharing delicious meals with loved ones.

My husband Chris, who’s also from Kenora, have been together since our first date in 2006. We tied the knot in August 2015 and welcomed our son Gavin in October 2018. Gavin’s a charming mix of both of us—happy, friendly, and a bit dramatic. We’re excited to add another member to our family in October 2024. We also have a fun and snuggly dog named Provie, whom we adopted from the Winnipeg Humane Society in 2013.

I’m passionate about going the extra mile for my clients, whether it’s a last-minute property showing or finding their dream home. Making my clients happy is always my top priority. Giving back to the community is also really important to me. I support charities like the Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, and Harvest Manitoba, and I’m looking to get more involved in volunteering regularly. My family is my biggest inspiration and motivation—they remind me of what’s truly important and drive me to chase my dreams and build a better future.

Growing up in Kenora, I was always involved in sports, especially hockey, which brought me to Winnipeg to play for the Manitoba Bison. Being part of a team has always been important to me, and joining Jen’s team in 2012 felt like a perfect match. I got my Real Estate license in 2011 and haven’t looked back. My work ethic, much like my hockey style, is all about hard work and dedication. As I continue to balance family life, personal passions, and my career, I’m excited for what the future holds and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of those I work with.
