Linden Woods & Linden Ridge

Linden Woods and Linden Ridge are two picturesque communities in Southwest Winnipeg, separated by McGillivray Boulevard.

Together, they boast over 60 acres of lush green spaces, an extensive network of walking paths, interconnected lakes, and elementary schools offering both English and French Immersion programs. This makes them ideal for starting school close to home. These areas are perfect for raising a family, with the added convenience of being just a short drive from all of Winnipeg’s post-secondary institutions.

Real Estate Trends

Linden Woods, developed by Genstar, began construction in 1982. Right next to it lies the newer community of Linden Ridge, which saw its groundbreaking in the early 2000s. Both neighbourhoods predominantly feature residential homes, though some areas toward the south and north serve industrial or commercial purposes. The lot sizes here are generally larger than average, and many substantial homes—often lakefront or adjacent to green spaces—are typical in these neighbourhoods. Most residences are single-detached homes, but you'll also find a mix of semi-detached houses, townhouses, and apartment-style condominiums.
